A new bearing manufactured for vertical pumps of Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. The bearing has a rigid structure with 4 mm thickness of white metal. The bearing was developed and manufactured in just 20 days. All tests like chemical composition test, Ultrasonic test for bonding, Dye Penetrate test have all given results 90 % OK and the bearing is accepted for direct use in pump.
